The Audubon Dimensions, by Vortex, is a 24/7 kind of spotting scope. The two eyepieces that come with the Dimensions scope work to bring nature in clearer sight any time of day (or night). You can scan for birds and wildlife at the lower 20x magnification, and then slip in the powerful 45x eyepiece for a closer look at whatever catches your eye. With the large 80mm objective of this fully-multi-coated refractor gathering lots of light, you can also expect great performance after dusk.

The Dimensions spotting scope comes with a handy table-top tripod, but fits just as well on a taller camera tripod. The angled eyepiece is ideal for viewing birds in treetops or craters on the moon, and makes it easy to share views among people of differing heights with less adjustment of the tripod.
